HUMMUS

Ingredients:

  • Two 15 Ounce cans of Garbanzo beans(drained) – 1/4 Cup of Tahini – Juice from one half of a lemon – 3 to 4 Tbsp. of Olive oil – 2 Pinches of Salt(to hour taste) – 1 Large garlic clove minced

 

Directions:

  1. Drain the garbanzo beans reserving the liquid 2. Put the beans in a food processor with the blending blade 3. Add the tahini to the food processor 4. Juice the lemon removing any seeds, and add it to the processor 5. Using a press mince the garlic directly into the bowl 6. Drizzle in 3-4 Tbsp. of your favorite olive oil 7. Toss in your pinches of salt (you made add more to taste later) 8. Run the food processor until you see a nice smooth somewhat fluffy texture. This is the point where you can taste it and add any more tahini, olive oil, or salt to your palates liking
